WHERE YOU ARE FROM
Stavanger, Norway
TWO PLACES YOU GET JOURNALING INSPIRATION FROM:
You guys! I don't really art journal, but I love scrapbooking! Even though I love paint and being messy, I don't really do it. But I love watching what everyone else make!
WHAT YOU FIND TOUGHEST TO JOURNAL ABOUT
Being truthful to myself. As a designer for Gutter Girlz, that's kinda what I had to do - every month. It's a great challenge!
WHAT YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT (journal/techniques, etc.)
Journaling. Getting those words down!
ARE YOU PUBLISHED? HAVE OTHER BRAGS?
I have been published for the first time! I was chosen to design for Memory Logbook and am not in print, in full color! Yay!
I design for Scrapshop.no and Memory Logbook, but have a few other things up my sleeve as well!

A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF
I'm a 26 year old woman living in Norway with my husband and our three cats. I just turned in my MA thesis on girls, respectability and social class and teach 100% at a high school (Norwegian, English and Social studies) while doing my teacher certification.
THREE UNKNOWN THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF
Not so unknown since they are very easy to spot (yet some people don't!)
- I have stretched ear lobes. Currently sporting 0000g / 1/2" 7 12mm.
- I have four other piercings, one tattoo.
- My hair used to be bright pink.
More practice! I strive to be better at what I do.
WHAT YOU HOPE TO GIVE TO A YEAR IN THE LIFE
Inspiration. As simple (and hard) as that.
ONE THING YOU WISH YOU HAD LISTENED TO THAT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN YOU STARTED IN JOURNALING SOONER.
As said, I don't "art journal", but scrapbook (is there really a difference). A friend from university got me started, but I was hesitant because I perceived it as "a housewife's hobby". Now I love it and can't imagine my life without paper and glue.
