Musical Musings Mar 15th

I had time today to make some clarifications to my post about 21 Secrets!!
It also seems that I should clarify a little bit about our three part prompts...
The prompts this year should NOT keep you from journaling!! The idea is to have three parts. HOWEVER. Sometimes, I feel it's too limiting to have to stick to specifics.
SO
When we give our three part prompts, all I ask it that you SOMEHOW choose at least one of them to use as a guide. HOW you do that is up to you, and if you'd LIKE to, you of course are welcome to use all three!! (or two!) The point is, I really just want to encourage you to be journaling!!
I also want you to make these prompts YOURS, so if that means bending them to make them fit YOU, that's what I want!! Don't be shy. And let us know what you did to make the prompt your own.
READY!?
Here goes!!
THE PROMPT: Confidence Shot
THE SONG: Strut by Adam Lambert
Written Lyrics HERE
PRODUCT/TECHNIQUE: eye shadow

Thank goodness for my guest hosts this week! I've been pretty busy with my oldest son's basketball, and then getting ready for 21 secrets and taking part in a traveling doll project. All of which happened within the last few weeks, so it was nice to lean on them for this prompt.
Check out the ways these gals made the prompt work for them!
GLENDA:
For this prompt I used some lyrics from the song and went in the direction of talking about how beer can be a coping mechanism for me, a confidence shot if you will. Sometimes when life gets rough I like to escape with a few Coors Light thus the title "Liquid Courage".

MARIT:
I have some photos of myself as 'super woman', and every time I see those I get the feeling that I am ready to conquer the world! Now thát's a confidence shot, isn't it?!
I didn't like the song 'Strut' much (sorry!) but the first line was very useful to go with this 'superwoman pic'. The letters are stamped and coloured with copic markers. A doodled border makes it complete.

SUSAN:
I used some words from the song for my inspiration this month: Solo, Solo, I don't want to be solo. Being alone used to be my greatest fear but as I've grown in myself I realize it's not the worst that can happen & I'm ok being solo. There are even some advantages to not being a part of a couple.

Looking forward to seeing what all of you create!!
