Musical Musings Mar 30th
This one comes from GLENDA!! Remember, you can take all or just parts of the three part prompts. We just want you to join in!!
THE PROMPT: Love
THE SONG: Not Broken by the Goo Goo Dolls
Written Lyrics HERE
PRODUCT/TECHNIQUE: Sillouettes
This song isn't on ProjectPlaylist, so you can watch it here...
From GLENDA:
Ok, you all know my total obsession with the Goo Goo Dolls so I'm sure you weren't surprised by the song choice right?? haha I was lucky enough to see them live on February 25th this year, a total dream come true!!!! I love sillouettes so I handcut this one out and painted it black and glued it onto my painty and journaled background. I also journaled about how we have been together for so long and I'm glad we aren't broken.
MARIT:
Haaa... I knew that Glenda would pick a song from her fave band! I loved the line 'and scroll the words upon your wall remind you to believe'. I used a Hambly overlay - I had it for years and I just can't work with the stuff (even here, you don't really see it's a clear sheet. I suck at clear sheets. Period.) but the wall-pattern was very usefull here. I cut out the 'broken' silhouette and used black Stazon to ink it on the sheet. The ink on the sheet gives a 'shadow' effect which I like. The border is doodled with copic markers.
RACHEL:
I did my project from a parent of a teenager my heart lives outside my body standpoint... used a line from the song. I think I'm going to put a silhouette of a small TEEENY bird on here somewhere... this is the 3 of hearts card.
