Hellos! I'm Lizzie! I'm a twenty something momma of three that lives in hot as crap Texas. Okay so it's only hot as crap six months out of the year... it's hot as Hades the other six. I'm a fun and funky gal that is still trying to find herself in the crazy life. My kidds keep me going, from running them around to school and the G-Rents to cleaning up their messes. It's a wonder I have time to create anything at all! But I do! I also have an amazing hubby who doesn't quite get why I spend more time in the craft room then watching t.v or gaming with him. Yes, I'm a big gamer... mostly MMORPG's. Tho I will dabble in a fighter or two. B/t gaming and crafty it's a wonder I have time to bathe!

WHAT YOU FIND TOUGHEST TO JOURNAL ABOUT
The toughest thing for me is myself. I know I seem confident over the interwebz. I don't do scrapbook pages or other things of myself too much b/c it's a lil weird to me. But I'm branching out! The more uncomfortable you are doing something, the more you learn, and the more it will come out being YOU!

WHAT YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT (journal/techniques, etc.)
Texture! I want to be able to make something that you just can't help but to run your hand across. Right now I'm working on layering with colors, but I hope to dig into gel medium real soon!!

THREE UNKNOWN THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF
1. I use to have over 20 piercings including 5/8th of an inch ear lobes... s/n my ears don't look cute now lol
2. I secretly LOVE Big Bang Theory... Shhh don't tell my hubby. I pretend to put up with it(it's his favorite show), but deep down, I love Sheldon!
3. I really want a pair of cowboy boots!

WHAT YOU HOPE TO GET FROM A YEAR IN THE LIFE
I hope to try new things, to get more comfy with writing about myself and the tuff things I had to endure as a child. I want to be a better person with dealing with my past, so I don't try to run away from it anymore. Wow that got kinda deep huh?

WHAT YOU HOPE TO GIVE TO A YEAR IN THE LIFE
I hope to make each person giggle at least once! And to give them tons of inspiration! I love it when you can help someone that is having a ruff crafty time and then put a smile on their face! Even if it's just to get them to doodle their name... art is very uplifting!

ONE THING YOU WISH YOU HAD LISTENED TO THAT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN YOU STARTED IN JOURNALING SOONER.
JUST DO IT! Don't worry that your 'pages' aren't as well thought out, or that you don't have the right tools/products. DO IT! DOOOO ITTT!!! Get your crafty stuff together and have FUN!

MY ART JOURNAL
So my journal isn't a legit journal... it's a smash book. And no, not one of the ones that I make. A real life SMASH copy right icon here BOOK! But I had to jazz it up some! I love doing things outside the box.. so I thought instead of just making a heavy duty journal with tons of watercolor paper... I'll just be simple and use this. Okay so I feeling a lil lazy... sue me!
