Inspired Remnant, Curious Dreams Blog Hop!!

Kerin Gale wrote a book called Inspired Remnants, Curious Dreams; Mixed Media Projects in Epoxy Clay. It's published by North Light Books. Kerin not only invited many of her on line artist friends to be part of her book, she has put together a blog hop book tour with a variety of mixed media artists participating on their blogs. Everyday you can visit a new blog and read their posts relating to the book and how they’ve used epoxy clay in their art.

I met a woman a while ago on line... when I lived in Reedsport. Her name was Kerin Gale. At the time, she was working on the book we're celebrating this month. Through our conversations on line, we learned that we shared a love of old STUFF, and both lived near the coast in Oregon, so naturally, we met in person!! We have since been garage sale shopping and thrifting together a couple times, and one of those times, Kerin saw an old glass battery case. She loved it, but didn't buy it... so I snuck back and got it for her later... :) She made this piece using it, and her beloved epoxy clay. It's part of her BOOK! :)

And she also made this... another of my favorites of her pieces...

Another one of my favorite bloggers that uses epoxy clay is Michael DeMeng http://michaeldemeng.blogspot.com/ They make me want to add ONE MORE THING to my list of things to make. Scratch that. Make that a BILLIONTY more things I want to add to my things to make list. I could dream up found art jewelry all DAY looking at the things Kerin and others like her make.
So why should all of this be so exciting for YOU? Because Kerin has asked me to be a part of her blog hop celebrating the release and SUCCESS of her book!! There are prizes, baby. A TON of them. I have always thought that Epoxy Clay would be something cool to try on an art journal page, and so what better blog to put into this blog hop, than THIS!?
EACH BLOG IN THE HOP WILL BE GIVING AWAY PRIZES. EACH.
ONE.
There are 115 PLUS prizes to be had.
So what exactly IS this epoxy clay? It's an amazing product so versatile, the possibilities are LITERALLY endless. Check out what members of Kerin's Epoxy group right here on FB have created using this cool product: https://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_158159677562761&view=photos
