Musical Musings Oct. 30th
This prompt is from BECKY!!
THE PROMPT: Peace
THE PROMPT: Peace
THE SONG: I Believe in Music - Mac Davis
Written Lyrics HERE
PRODUCT/TECHNIQUE: Leather
GLENDA
I loved making this page and used some tissue paper that had music notes on it and glued it to my page and then layered it with other tapes and goodies. I listen to music everyday while driving and it's funny how songs can take you right back to a certain moment in time and how we have songs we love to listen to when we are happy and songs we love to listen to when we aren't so happy. I put some of the lyrics of the song on my little chipboard guitar.

Peace and leather led to the big peace sign!
I had a lot of small pieces of leather in a box, and I stitched some of them together.
Just fooling around with the title and leather - here's a close-up:
There's a Dutch poem about peace and I used a line from that (well, that's not completely true: the swearing is even harder in the poem) because I found it fitting with all the 'cuteness' that's going on on this page...
