Musical Musings April15th
So I'm blaming this late post on TAXES. lol Are you ready!?
THE PROMPT: Really?!
THE SONG: Tell Me Something I Don't Know by Selena Gomez
Written Lyrics HERE
PRODUCT/TECHNIQUE: Speech bubbles
I didn't have the chance to make anything new for this prompt, but I have a page I created for Gutter Girls, and it fit pretty perfectly...
Thanks to my AMAZING guest host TEAM that actually DID have time to create for me!!
GLENDA
I loved the idea of the speech bubble for this prompt as it has been so long since I've had some fun with them!! I was inspired by some of the lyrics and went with how life can be hard, how I am just a passenger on this crazy ride called Life!
MARIT
I wanted to use the speech bubbles, I hardly ever do that and it sounded like fun. I didn't know what to do with it though, but when I came across a photo in a magazine of this just-married couple of gay-guys (homosexuals can marry in the Netherlands) I knew that I would use my favorite stamp-guys-heads with the funny pose and suits they're wearing. After I had the idea, I looked at the songlyrics and found exactly the right words to go with the image. Sometimes everything falls into place! Do you know the feeling? It sounds like YEAY!
CHRISTI
Loved this prompt! I knew I wanted to focus on all the crap that's going on at work right now, so I immediately started looking for just the right "bakery" image. Found the perfect one in a little vintage book...I totally empathize with the Gingerbread Man in this picture! lol

WOW, I got chills reading the message with today's prompt! I was working on a two page spread last night... dealing w/ some extreme family upheaval issues. Very cathartic, very fast, stream-of-consciousness. I ended up stamping the word "REALLY" several times across the pages. I guess I was picking up the prompt vibe in advance! I'll have to post photos to the group when I get them completed.
